What are some of the best / your favorite Keith Godchaux moments? For me, i've never heard anything close to his solo starting at ~4min mark in Bird Song on 9/21/72. Are there any moments that come close to this or top this?

Brown Eyed Women. Whole damn thing. And pretty much the whole show. To me Keith just owned the spring 76 tour.

The 70 minutes of Truckin’ > The Other One >Big River > The Other One >Eyes Of The World >The Other One >Wharf Rat in the second set is something special and Keith is very much right on the money and delivering the goods the whole way through.

A lot of Europe 72 has great Keith moments. That has always been my favorite period for him.

Early Keith: Hill Auditorium, 1971-12-14. The entire show. He's mic'd high (as with many shows from winter 1971) but playing with lots of confidence and really meshing with the rest of the band.

Late Keith: Buffalo War Memorial Auditorium, 1977-05-08. Comes a Time. His backing up Jerry turns what would have otherwise been a great solo into something sublime. https://archive.org/details/gd1977-05-09.123480.sbd.miller.flac16
